Montepescali is a medieval village surrounded by olive groves 15 km. north of Grosseto on a hilltop with views across the land to the sea till the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and sometimes till Corse. The walled borough preserves the charme of ancient times. In the village there are a couple of restaurants (beginning of August there´s the wild boar "Sagra" along the streets) and a very good one is in Braccagni in front of the rail-station.
